Good dogs, tall longleaf pines, golden wiregrass, and a steak lunch. One flat price for your whole group, and you’re guaranteed to see 100 birds.
A full seven-hour day, start to finish. Show up, and we’ll handle the rest.
Shake off the drive and find your swing. Every morning starts on the skeet range so first-timers and old hands alike walk into the field confident and safe.
Walk golden wiregrass under the pines while the dogs work ahead. Points, flushes, and plenty of shooting. You’re guaranteed to see 100 birds.
Unload the guns, rest the dogs, and sit down to a proper steak lunch. Swap stories and take your time. It’s a big part of what makes the day.
Bring a full group of four and it works out to $400 a hunter. The price you’re quoted is the price you pay. Birds are included, lunch is included, the skeet warm-up is included.
No per-bird charges. No add-ons at the end of the day. No extra fees. No extra charges.

Josiah has guided hunts on some of the South’s best-known quail plantations. Now he’s bringing that same experience to Sandy Hill, where every group gets his full attention.
Sandy Hill was built on a simple idea: give folks a real Southern field day, with plenty of birds, good dogs, good food, and an honest price, and treat every group like they’re hunting with family.
“Come hunt with us. I think you’ll be back.”
The real stars of the day. Watching a good dog lock up on point never gets old.

Yes. Every hunter needs either a valid Georgia hunting license or a Georgia shooting preserve license. If you don’t already have a hunting license, the preserve license is a quick, inexpensive option. In-state and out-of-state versions are available online at Go Outdoors Georgia.
Your license, shotgun and shells, eye and ear protection, water, a cooler with ice for your birds, and a good attitude. We take care of the dogs, the birds, and lunch.
A 20-gauge or smaller is preferred, and break-open shotguns are preferred over semi-autos. Bring light field loads in #7½ or #8 shot. Plan on 3 boxes per hunter for the skeet warm-up and a full day afield.
A blaze orange hat and vest, broken-in boots, and brush pants or chaps for the wiregrass. Dress in layers. South Georgia mornings can be cold and afternoons warm.
Every day starts with a safety talk and the skeet warm-up. In the field, everyone wears blaze orange, keeps to safe zones of fire, and the guide calls the shots. Guns stay unloaded around the dogs, the trucks, and lunch.
The $1,600 flat rate covers 1 to 4 people. Same price whether it’s just you or your full crew. For larger groups, call or text and we’ll work it out.
We don’t hunt in rain or bad weather. If your hunt has to be canceled because of the weather, your deposit can be transferred to another date.
Yes. Your birds are cleaned and bagged on ice for the trip home, included in the flat rate.
